An incredible visit to Saint a Petersburg

We enjoyed 2 days with an incredibly knowledgeable tour guide named Alona. Everywhere we traveled she continuously shared information about what we were seeing or visiting. Additionally, our driver was spectacular in weaving in and out of traffic and patiently waiting for us at each stop. Kudos to Red October New Generation!

Great tour in St. Petersburg, Russia

We had contracted a tour for 4 for the 3 days we were in St. Petersburg. I recommend them highly. We were late getting off our ship due to Russian Immigration. Alona & driver were waiting for us & off we went. She was very knowledgeable, & fun. We saw so much in 3 days. She knew how to get through the lines quickly & how to get ahead of groups. We also contracted to do some things at night. We did the White Nights canal tour. Before that we went to Nevsky Prospect & walked the streets. She took us to a specialty grocery that has been around forever. She also took us to restaurants to give us a taste of Russian food. They were great. We learned so much about Russian history, that we were unaware of. We also went to a Russian Ballet & saw Swan Lake. It wasn't a premiere group, but it was Russian & we had fun. Our driver was excellent. We rode in a very nice Mercedes van. Perfect for 4. It was great having a small group instead of being with the ship's 100.

The Best Ever!

We were a group of eight off a cruise ship and we had signed up with this company for a two day tour of St Petersburg. Our guide Tatiana was brilliant. She has a tremendous knowledge of all things St Petersburg and is an extremely friendly and helpful individual. She planned our two days down to the last minute and made sure that we entered the attractions as quickly as possible. We cannot speak highly enough of her and our driver Sergei, who had the unenviable task of getting us through the traffic! Thank you Tatiana and Sergei! Thank you Red October New Generation. Our next trip will be to Israel with you guys!

FANTASTIC

We just returned from our vacation and we cannot rave enough about our experience with Red October New Generation We toured with them in St. Petersburg. From the beginning, we found Red October New Generation so easy to work with. Setting up the tours from their base was simple and easy, When we arrived in St. Petersburg, the tour guides were there waiting for us. Not only did they have a great deal of knowledge as to the history of the countries and each of our tour location visits, but they were flexible and accommodating to our individual requests and extremely pleasant and enjoyable to be with. We STRONGLY recommend them.

Tour of St. Petersburg, Russia with Red October

We (husband, and 2 teenage children) took a Baltic Cruise. We had pre-booked a tour with Red October New Generation for 2 days. Yafim handled all details via email quickly and efficiently and we had requested a tour in a party of 10. The tour group ended up being a party of 5 but Red October charged us as if there were 10, as agreed. Our guide was Dmitry who can only be described as excellent! He had a superb knowledge of Russian history and a great command of English when describing what we were seeing. He liaised with us to see what we wanted to visit and whether we wanted a lunch break or not (we didn't want one as we wanted to see as much as possible). He spectacularly got us to the fronts of queues and we never lost any time negotiating crowds. Even when torrential rain threatened to bring an end to the tour of the gardens at Peterhof, Dmitry got his raincoat out and carried on. We had come prepared also.

Demitri showed us some additional sights not on our itinerary and all in all, gave us two days to remember. We are extremely grateful and must say that it was a pleasant surprise that our guide was so good when so often tour guides settle for mediocrity and a tendency to "dumb" things down.

We thoroughly enjoyed this magical city and want to return. Thanks to our guide and the efficiency of Red October New Generation, we would recommend this company without hesitation!
